I know I've read a few posts from people here saying it was happening to them, but these were in controversial topics. I figured maybe H9 was deleting them.
However, over the last few days I've seen a bunch of mine disappear that were just generic, helpful replies to some threads. I don't see a reason why a mod would delete them, so I don't think this is the case. Unless I'm just thinking I replied to topics and didn't, but I don't think this is the case. Anybody else having this happen to them for non controversial posts? |

I haven't had any deleted. I remember thinking some were deleted on other forums untill I realized I had clicked on "preview" and forgot to click "submit"
I haven't noticed anything missing here but I don't always see every thread.

Ya I always type in the quick reply box and there is no preview button for that, so I'm positive I'm submitting them.
The only thing I can think of is that back ups are being restored or something from a few hours before the posts are made, but even that doesn't make much sense. |

I am the only one on the forums that can delete post and I can assure you 110% I haven't even removed any of your posts. I have only deleted one post on this forum since starting at HostNine.

Ya I believe that. The posts in question have been basic, helpful replies to users with questions, so I know a mod wouldn't try and get rid of them.
One example, is the thread about sub domains and folders. I was the first to write a reply to that and I don't see it there any where. Just weird is all. |

Now i can say without any doubt that posts are indeed being removed or there is a problem with your VB database. I made a post last week in http://forums.hostnine.com/showthread.php?t=543 which has since been removed along with a couple of other posts there too.
There is no doubt that these posts have been removed, for the first couple of days after my post there were replies, these have also dissapreared and the subscription is no longer in my CP. I only emptied my deleted box yesterday otherwise i would have posted the topic replies i received. I sincerely hope that this is a database error because if H9 are actively removing posts that they dont like then this is another concern to add to my list
