Default Do we need our own Credit Card account with MBill?

Do we need to have our own credit card account with ModernBill or is that included?

ALSO - I see that the price of web names are $11 - is there a way to change that or is that the only price we can charge and is there any profit in that?

Hi,

Yes, or you can apply for one at www.modernauthorize.com

For domains if you goto www.moderndns.com you can sign up for the $7.95 eNom account and you can manage the prices within Modernbill under the TLD Setup.

Yeah but don't you have to have a minimum amount in the kitty on top of that like $50-$100?

Personally, i will just offer TLD from oneandone and get the dns changed..easier, cheaper and not out my pocket...

modern dns is not actually too bad considering the $100 goes towards registering your customer's domains. I have registered already and deposited the cash. Apparently, I'll also need to transfer my reseller domain to the enom account so that newly registerd account will have automatically point to my dns. This is actually causing a bit of a delay now because you can't transfer domains within 60 days of registering them. So need to wait my 60days (almost complete)

Modern authorize tho is a different case. Unless you're making a lot of cash per month, it's not worth it. Better to stick with paypal. The other alternative I know about is 2checkout. But just google their name and you'll find nothing but negative reviews about them.

Can anyone reccomend another way of giving my customers the option to pay via a credit card that's not too expensive. (Maybe about the same cost as paypal or 2CO)

Thanks
warren
