Hello:
Totally new to web design and scripting. Is there a way to add background music to your site using SiteBuilder? Thank you. Impact Crater |

why would you want to do something like that?!
And to answer your question, probably not, you would need to add it in after you had published it |

Please don't take me too seriously, I am only joking and voicing my personal preference.
I don't like visiting sites that make "noise" when I load them. If I am visiting a musicians website, I would like the option to play the music, not have it forced on me. And my other thing still stands, I do think you need to add the music code in after you have published the site. Joe |

You can add music to your site by opening your page in an html editor and embedding the code below into the body of the page as described below. Although if you use a template and upload with sitebuilder, it will probably overwrite your page every time you edit it. Hope this helps:
Here is the HTML code you should enter to have your background music correctly displayed in any web browser, just changr the parameters to whatever you are using such as mp3 or midi : <object type="audio/mpeg" data="your_audio_file.mp3" height="0" width="0"> <param name="filename" value="your_audio_file.mp3"><param name="autostart" value="true"> <param name="loop" value="false"></object> You have to put this code wherever you want, between the <body> and </body> tags of your webpage. You can set the loop parameter to "true" if you want the music to be displayed again and again. |
