Default Suggestion.. package ?

there some things hostnine can do in order to improve their service...

1. READ the forum at least once a day!!! cause this forum has no meaning if is not read by hostnine members.

2. reading some WHM documentation i found some interesting things you can do in order to improve your service:

2.1 there is a module already included called "ClamAV" is an antivirus included on WHM, you just need to "up" the service (ii think is useful, i don't know what everybody thinks about).

2.2 WHM has the capability to transfer accounts seems that resellers have no access to it, that could be useful for us too (resellers guys) cause that could improve our service and spend less time.

2.3 WHM/Cpanel can also run java (JSP) web applications, it has a built-in TOMCAT controler!!! and in case TOMCAT isn't installed on the server, WHM has the capability also to install RPM's so is possible to install RPM's TOMCAT and get JAVA application running on your server, which i am sure is going to like many people.

not complaning just some suggestions

Not to worry we constantly check the forums daily. To answer your suggestions:

2. reading some WHM documentation i found some interesting things you can do in order to improve your service:

2.1 there is a module already included called "ClamAV" is an antivirus included on WHM, you just need to "up" the service (ii think is useful, i don't know what everybody thinks about). That causes high CPU usage and is not completely needed for several reasons: We have filters set at server level to block 99% of the virus forms, and no a days everyone has AV on their PC. You can even get AVG which includes an email scanner for free.

2.2 WHM has the capability to transfer accounts seems that resellers have no access to it, that could be useful for us too (resellers guys) cause that could improve our service and spend less time. That is only available to the root user which is a WHM limitation, not HostNine.

Once again these are all for the root user only and TOMCAT also utilizes a large amount of CPU/RAM just to run.

Sorry, what the meaning "not Hostnine"?
do you mean HostNine user account? or H9 didn't have a root access?

as i know, cpanel can do transfer backup, and reseller cannot do restore backup (only root can do this).

What the moderator meant is that this is a limitation of WHM - that only the root user can perform this - and not a limit imposed by H9.
