Default Forum User deleted

Hi and greetings form Austria,

Is there a timeframe of inactivity after that a fotum-user will be deleted? I am watching the forum at least weekly but am a lazy poster and found out today that my forum-user no longer exists. I could create a new one with my old credentials so it seems that my forum user has been deleted

I wonder if your account got inadvertantly deleted when they were deleting spamming accounts?

We don't delete spammers either, we ban them instead (so they can't just signup again with the same email and/or username)

We did remove users from the forums a few days ago that had 0 posts due to the influx of spammers. If you did not have any posts your account may have been removed as well, however feel free to signup again under the same username.

I apologize if this was an inconvenience.

Ok, that seems to be the case, I signed up already with my old username.

Greetings from Salzburg

Haha, well normally users are not removed from the forums, this was just a special case due to the number of spammers that signed up.
