Send a message via MSN to Express
Default Outlook 2003

Hey!

Sorry i did not know where to post this.

I have been using outlook express for about 1 1/2 years now and just updated to office 2003. However when i send messages from the outlook 2003 software it puts that message in the Junk email folder at Hotmail.

Also in outlook i have changed the HTML Text to Plain Text. I can not figure out what is going on?

Anyone know?

OK, OL is just a client and not an actual sender address...I assume that you are referring to the fact that you have changed nothing else and just through this upgrade you now are being classed as "Junk" at hotmail???
Or is this from another mail account that is recent or??

Did you intentionally switch to plain text or it is now mysteriously switched to plain text where prior it was set to html??

Korba,

Thanks for your reply (I know my reply is a little late)

I have been looking at this for some time now and invoices are not being paid as clients are not receiving invoices in their inbox via email and accounts are being suspended.

The only thing i have changed is the software using to send the mail in the case outlook 2003 and i have not switched to plain text. I also contacted Hotmail regarded the issue however they were no help at all :S

I use Thunderbird and I had this happen to me a while ago as well. Hotmail was marking all my emails as junk/spam. I _think_ the problem is fixed now. Not really sure the cause. At first the only thing I could think of was that the smtp server was not from the same domain name. I use my local cable provider's smtp server for all my mail accounts. I've changed this over since and like I said, I _think_ that fixed the problem. I don't send many, if any to be honest, emails to hotmail accounts, so I don't really know. Last I checked it was working.

Is no mail being sent/received? Or is this just to accounts like hotmail, yahoo & possibly AOL??

If some mail is sent/received but not to particular ISP's - then check your mail as I have forwarded you a doc.

As for the type of mail - I have to dig this out as I also had this issue and the solution is not intuitive...
