Default Branding cPanel

Hello,

Any Resellers or dedicated server users out there that has branded cPanel. If so could you provide a screen shot. I am thinking about doing it but what some of the user thoughts first . . . Is this a good thing?

Thanks!

Liam

I added my logo on to the left hand side of the standard cpanel skin - doesn't too look amazing but keeps a little consistency with the corporate branding I guess :-)

I've customised the rvskin to have my logo at the top of the page and then a link to my site, and the customers main domain in the links at the top.

Looks ok, nothing out of place.

Well I finally ended up changing my original one which was pretty bad... Here is my new one. Personally I think that if you are able to create a nice looking one (or able to pay someone to do it for you) then you should. It helps to customize the entire experience to your websites theme.

Generally speaking - adding your branding to cPanel 10 at the top is simple and I would be more than happy to help anyone achieve it. (I know some photoshop)

What I would like to know is how to alter the colors like the text etc. Anyone know where you might find the wonderful style sheet of cpanel or is this only located in the root source?

cP11 is going to a new beast so we will have to see what comes of that.

RVSkin ... I will have to see how easy it is to skin.

Hmm, I've also though about that. I tried creating a file named 'style.css' in the branding folder (/home/user/cpanelbranding/themename) although that didn't seem to change anything. I also did a quick google search and it seems you need to use the "universal theme manager" which of course isn't available to resellers (can't remember if it needs to be enabled or is only available to root).

I guess we could always ask who the designer is for H9 as he recently changed the look of the shared cPanel accounts. Including the stylesheet.
