first create a child nameserver in your Domain at Domain Control Panel. Asign your IP there.
Then go to WHM and modify DNS of your domain that will used as nameserver. Add new entry nsx - 14400 - [IN] - A - Server IP |

Yikes, that doesn't look like I can do it. I want to create private nameservers as well...my domain is registered at godaddy.com. Can anyone help me set that up? I sure would appreciate it.
Thank you for your time. ~FOX~ |

ok, awesome i found it!
now, do I just put in "ns1" and "ns2" in there? (i think the numbers can be whatever i want) and I assume I just use the same ip for both? So after that I follow what HarrySudana said about adding a new entry? I've got 5 clients under my reseller program, I would assume I need to change them all to my new nameservers? As i understand it, this gets done where the domains are registered, correct? so after I create a new nameserver at godaddy I then direct all new domains to the same nameservers? I'm still a bit confused if you can't tell ![]() Thanks for the help, ~FOX~ |

ns2 - gets another IP and so forth at where you have this domain registered and only do this for the domain that you are using as/for nameservers.... Quote:

i.e. at GD - you select the nameservers icon Quote:
