Go to http://www.tectite.com/ I have been using this for several months and it works great. If you are not used to php there is a bit of a learning curve, but not bad.

I use FormToEmail from http://formtoemail.com/ It is a rather simple php script with the recipients email address (yours) hard coded into the php script and not visible in the html form. It does the usual stripping of "bad" characters, new lines, whitespace, etc and checks that the form came from your site.

Also look at http://identipic.com/ for a photo CAPTCHA system to slow down the bots.

When your form is submitted it shows a custom "thank you" page and a "continue" link. My whole, slightly modified, script is only 6k in size. My modification(s) include the date/time sent and custom header in the email sent to me. I do get some abuse but the form can't be abused to send spam to someone else like the old Matt's formail could be.

Oh yes .... rename the script to some other name than "formail".
