I agree. Something needs to be done about this as it's making the experience in these forums a rather poor one.
Upgrade to VB like it was talked about, install some spam plugins or assign mod powers to some users here so they can manually delete the spam. Just do something.

I will be happy to be a mod
 I see that on the bottom of the forum it says "We have 1631 registered users" but only a handfull use the forum. I would say is 3/4 of the users are spam.
