I have tried in cpanel x and cpanel x3, but I can't find any way to disable SpamAssassin.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

it should be under Mail heading SpamAssassin - the disable. However, early on I though you could setup packages and enable/disable what was available under a sites control panel - just a thought as to why you can't see it.
I think that was under whm but I have not see/tried it under cp. Brian |

I don't mean remove it from cPanel. It's currently enabled, and there's no "Disable SpamAssassin" button. In the Mail/SpamAssassin settings, I was expecting to see one, and it's not there.
