FB-NET2 (NET-66-252-228-0-1) 66.252.228.0 - 66.252.231.255 Host Nine APPLI-22-66-252-230-184 (NET-66-252-230-184-1) 66.252.230.184 - 66.252.230.191 I would like to rquest to H9 admins to do something with this, please. |

why would you expected a dedicated IP to be anonymous?

Because it is a reseller package with anonymous offers.

Incorrect.... nowhere on http://www.hostnine.com/reseller-hosting/ does it even mention the word anonymous.
Any provider you buy from has to re-allocate the IP's; therefore it will always mention them. They own the block of IP's, and distribute out from that. |

Maybe you should host in a foreign country where the rules are more "relaxed". |

We attempt to have provide all our resellers the ability to be as anonymous as possible. However, there are somethings that we can't hide. If you have any further questions, feel free to PM me or submit a support ticket.

Yea, in the U.S. there's certain things we can't do due to law.
You can certainly find an out of U.S. host to get relaxed rules. BUT, realize that those laws work both ways. Because we're in the U.S., you also have more rights as the consumer with regards to payment/services, etc... In the end, at least in my opinion, the risk/reward all equals out. Sometimes in Business it's worthwhile saying:
"We have the 'Big Boys' behind us" And in the case of IP's, I kinda think 'traceability' is 100% essential, if you try and hide 'that' sort of info, people will be suspicious, and ultimately look elsewhere for a more 'open' provider. just my 2 cents worth from a 'Business Oldie', but host newbie. |
